Among software development projects I have completed in the past:
- For a small startup, I designed and implemented the software for an embedded real time system musical keyboard controller including message
handling and generation, system configuration via custom coded XML file parser, and dynamic resource allocation. Designed
and implemented a visual patch editor in Visual Basic for the keyboard running on Windows. Coded USB interface software
for both the keyboard and host computer.
- For a large Fortune 500 company, I was part of a team that developed an award winning audio creation tool for the video game industry.
Graphical user interface design and development was done in C++ and Visual Studio .NET and cross platform development of the software library
was accomplished for Windows, Sony Playstation 2, and the Microsoft Xbox platforms. I created demonstration programs for the audio
tool using C++, HTML, Flash, and Visual Basic. I provided on site and remote customer support and developed a customer support
database using Microsoft Access.
- For a medium size public company, I designed and developed advanced telecommunications systems for the U.S. Defense community.
This involved the design and coding of software applications with complex real time issues and advanced data management running in a
mixed UNIX and Windows networked environment.
- For a small startup Internet company, I was co-founder and Vice President of operations. I led site development of a large scale,
robust e-commerce site. This included extensive work in HTML, Javascript, and the Intershop platform. This also included managing
the efforts of multiple vendors and service providers to the site as well as establishing site management and order fufillment
processes. Day to day operations also included database management, product entry, and statistics and site usage tracking.
